Freedom Meal
On the 5th of May, Dutch Liberation Day, the Flag of Compassion is part of 180 Amsterdammers: Make Food, Not War, a diner to celebrate liberty, organized by De Hallen Amsterdam, the Prince Claus Fund and the Public Library of Amsterdam (OBA). 180 Amsterdammers with different nationalities are invited to this special event.
During this evening, dancer and choreographer Christian Guerematchi gives a special performance in which the Flag of Compassion takes a central role. During the dance artist and radio maker Fabiola Veerman declaims the Manifesto Flag of Compassion.
