This film was broadcast on the Italian television channel Rai Tre and shows the restoration process of Michelangelo's Pietà after it was attacked in 1972. In the 1990s, Hurkmans found this press film with subtitles on the internet and ever since one can recognise topics the film is dealing with in her work.
