The video Homeland, Part III shows the transformation of a meadow with three oak trees through moments of silence, tranquility, and turbulence. The camera focuses on different parts under the trees while the seasons change.
In the video installation, the video is projected on an entire wall and a comfortable chair on a warm soft carpet is placed in front of the projection. By sitting down in the chair and viewing the passing of time from up close, almost as if one is part of the changing environment, the viewer tends to develop a sense of place.
